In my household, the holidays have always been a time for joy and happiness. Ideas concerning the joy giving of giving rather than receiving were important; but I find that during the holidays, receiving the precious gift of love is sometimes more precious than giving any sort of gift. This event, no doubt, has shown me yet again how willing people are to give out their love. Maybe it came in the form of toffee, clothes, jewelry or those Becker’s cookies Mrs. Judson bought – wherever it came from, I felt an overwhelming sense of heartfelt love from this fundraiser. From all of you. Thank You all for creating not only a perfect introduction to the Christmas season but also an atmosphere of love and support. Thank You.
